- Tenting can be enjoyed within each campsite, at the site rental rate

- Day-use area (reserve picnic areas for $20/day through the Park Attendants)
If bringing wood from outside of the Lakeland region, please ensure there is no elm in the mix and help prevent the spread of Dutch Elm Disease. Remember to "burn it where you buy it" - if in doubt, firewood bundles can be purchased from County campground caretakers.

Directions:
From St. Paul, travel north on Hwy 881, then west on Twp Rd 590. Head north from there on Range Road 100. Watch for the blue Municipal Campground sign.

The County of St. Paul and the Lakeland Cross Country Ski Club (LCCSC) have established a new agreement for the Nordic ski trail in the Westcove Municipal Recreation Area, commencing February 11, 2025, until April 30, 2027.

Ski tracks and skate-ski lanes are for ski use only. Those looking to access the lake with their snowmobiles and ATVs for ice fishing can do so from the boat launch parking area.

"Fabulous hosts!!!!"
We spent three days (Canada Day weekend) out at Westcove by St. Paul. Had a fabulous time!!!! Sites are very nice, lots of trees, very clean! Even the showers were clean and nice! Evelyn and Dwayne were fabulous!! Wood was reasonable and lots for the price!!! We plan on going back many more times!!!

"Awesome sites, even better managers"
This is a great place, the lake isn’t always good for swimming (like a lot of lakes in Alberta); however, the sites and the splash park really make up for it. There is a site for every type of camper there, everything from open sites with fields attached so you can keep an eye on the kids to very private sites that are completely treed in. On top of that, you can’t beat the managers Evelyn and Dwayne, who are some of the best folks I’ve met and have really made Westcove awesome.

"Amazing Campground"
This was our first time there and the only disappointment is that we didn't book for a longer stay. While the beach and water aren't the greatest, the campsites are spacious and plenty of trees between. We are already talking about our next trip there and recommending you to our friends who are looking for new places to go. Thank you - until next time.
